Hisme is the second pup that we kept from the breeding of Eireann with Soleil des Assiers. If Houfti (or at least one of the females) was destined to stay at home it was out of the question to keep a male…
Hisme was the smallest pup in the litter and I completely fell in love with him. Like his sister Houfti he is very interested in all that is happening around him and loves to explore. But unlike Houfti he loves to climb on things, maybe because he knows that it is the only place where he can escape her... Hisme shows a willingness to learn and already knows : sit, down, stand and give me five. when he was 3 months old he participated in a film and he surprised me by his co-operation (see the section News for more information).
Why the name Hisme ? Simply because Hisme Ze Best.

Eireann was born in June 2005 she never had the slightest obedience lesson until January 2007. Up till then her education was supervised and given by Galopine and Calimero our Jack Russells. Of course she went to different occasions like the village fete, carnival, and fun fairs in order to socialise her with strange people and get her used to different noises. She also accompanied her Sire Ze Best and her Mentor Calimero to different shows since she was 8 weeks old.
In April 2008 she presented and got her Belgian Obedience Brevet, and in May during the French National Breeding Championships she got the CSAU (Certificate of Sociability and Aptitude to Work) and her French Obedience Brevet.
Her work is on standyb for the moment as she had a litter mid September and she will restart her obedience training in January 2009.

Normally Ze Best was not destined to stay at home and that is how he got his name. When the man came to tattoo the pups Ze Best did not have a name yet. As Willy’s favourite saying is « I am Ze Best » the name just suggested itself. At the last minute Willy really liking what he saw and finally Ze Best never left home.
Ze Best is a dominant dog but who is not aggressive. He has a stable character and will never look for a fight but is more than willing to defend himself. He is an Alpha dog and defends his pack in all circumstances. He is very protective of puppies and small children.
Ze Best does mostly obedience competitions with some shows sprinkled here and there for a change. He also does defence work and tracking, not at a competition level so as the two of us can have some fun together after a hard day’s work

Opium

Hardly 7 weeks after her sister Miss Matttie, Opium went to join her.
Another star is shining in the sky.
Sleep in peace little one.
Opium left the kennels at 8 weeks like her brothers and sisters but we took her back after a year as she was too dominant with her owners other dogs. Once back she never left home again.
Opium is a little bitch with a big idea of what protection is, but has never attacked without a reason. She did not realy like Expos but with her we discovered other dog sports namely tracking and in 2003 we even did a Mondioring seminar in Avignon (South of France).

On Tuesday 17th of March, Miss Mattie left us to join Shadow in the Sky.
She may be gone but will never be forgotten.
Sleep in peace my darling.
Uddie du Regard Mordant, better known to her friends as Miss Mattie is a bitch with a very nice character.
Her favourite pastime is to have her photo taken and will pose anywhere as long as she sees a camera. She loves dog shows and even though she has a high level of obedience, dog sports were never her thing.
Even now at 11 years old she is as fit as a dog much younger. The proof is that this year at the Belgian National Breeding Championships on the 11th of June she won the best female of the day beating bitches many years younger than her
